the Grounds
It was a long 4 years in the making,
but the grounds in mulBerryLand are finally complete. We took great pride in
working on our half acre oasis and think the results speak for themselves. We have had our gardens featured on various tours.
There are 3 ponds for you to enjoy. One in
the secluded serenity garden which is privately fenced with a whimsical wrought iron gate
at the entrance. This garden can be seen from your private balcony in the suite. There are
two more ponds alongside the main house and deck that are joined by a river. Birds love
the pond and are often seen splashing around in it. If you look close enough, you may even
spot one of the resident frogs. And speaking of birds, there are heron as well as plenty
of bald eagles to keep you entertained.
We have kept as many of the original trees
on the property as we could, and have made concrete paths that weave through them and the
surrounding flower beds. There's a grand-dad swing to relax on, or you can have a rest in
one of the hammocks. You can't miss the entrance to our little forest, let the red door
show you the way. And if you're up for a game, our lifesize chessboard awaits!
There are plenty of spots for you to sit
and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature in this peaceful setting.
